Renovating our ‘Space’

The joy of having something done in one’s home that has been pending for months! Circumstances of late put a major “spanner in the works” of renovating my home. Happy days arrived yesterday, together with a wonderful friend who came to help with fixing numerous things that have been irritations for so long. Best of all, he hung all my pictures. I feel like a kid with the excitement of seeing my beloved artworks up on the walls again. Imagined or not, there is a shift in the energy of my space.

Because I believe in the energetic impact our surroundings have on our ability to perform, it’s been interesting to hear how the changes in work spaces have influenced both personal and organizational engagement. And I have wondered the extent to which working from home is enhanced by the fact that one has choice in the creation of one’s home environment and very little input in a workplace environment beyond one’s immediate workspace.

And the sun is shining so the shift in light makes the pictures even more vibrant! Happy days!
