Burnout

What exactly does this mean? As a beginning, it describes the physical, emotional and intellectual exhaustion of the body – the point at which regeneration and renewal is extremely difficult or no longer possible.

Patently, it’s preferable to prevent the body reaching this point. Some of the symptoms to be aware of are

Constant physical fatigue

Disturbed sleep

Digestive issues

Headaches

Constant anxiety

Emotional blunting

Short term memory lapses

Absence of drive

This is not an exhaustive list. Best to pay attention to changes in one’s usual way of being and stop the deterioration before it advances!

There is much one can do to prevent burnout developing or progressing. Please message me if you are concerned that you might be heading in this direction so we can discuss how I might help you create a personal programme to avoid burnout.
