DIAMOND CLARITY
The second “C” word to consider when choosing a diamond is Clarity. The greater the clarity, (the fewer occlusions in the stone), the more valuable it is.
As people, our brilliance is reflected in the clarity with which we understand ourselves and our motivations for choosing particular modes of self-expression. This understanding helps one establish a value system mindfully, the basis on which to build the major elements of our lives. We strive, not to become flawless, but to understand our way of being with such clarity that we can choose our personal development to reflect the best of us - and encourage the best from others. The more we understand ourselves and our way of being in the world, the greater clarity of understanding we may bring to our relationship with others – appreciating both differences and similarities.
The role of coach is similar to that of a mirror – we reflect back to the viewer what is revealed to us and that we perceive in them. It is not our role to make any changes – only the viewer can tweak and adjust what they see in the mirror to better adapt their “appearance” to whatever role they are playing in their world.
